Disbelieve Disempowering NarrativesAdeshola Ezeokoli
This week I will be addressing another pillar of balance:
Mental Soundness and Wholeness
What do you think? Seriously, what occupies your thoughts?
Do you spend all your mental energy believing disempowering narratives?
What do I mean?
Not all thoughts that come to your head are meant to be accepted. If your thoughts do not serve God, serve you or serve your highest purpose, you may need to take a step back and change the way you think.
For example: “I never catch a break”. Is that really true? All the time? Think of all the great things that have happened to you.
Unfortunately, in order to hold a position, our ego will lie to us and convince us of things that are not real.
Think of the times that you have caught a break and be grateful for those.
“Nobody ever supports me”. Really? Not true. The fact that you are reading this blog means that you have me!
What are examples of disempowering narratives that people commonly hold that we need to change?
I would love to hear your thoughts
