This poem is untitled. I wrote it a long time ago inspired by a situation a friend of mine found herself in. It is a rhyme about unrequited love that did not end happily ever after. Enjoy!

My lady love;
I carried the flames in my heart so long,
My love for you so strong,
What could have gone wrong?
At last the flames died,

In the depths of my heart,

A love letter
I blew you a kiss on the morning air:
Life sweet breath,
I gave you water from a spring:
To quench your thirst,
I shone on you through the noonday sun:
Giving you warmth,
The same I lit with the strongest beam:
Giving you light.
A tune I played you through the birdsong:
Sweet fragrance I gave in the spring blossoms:
Abundant fruit I caused to grow upon trees:
Cool rain bringing the best of showers:
